1960-1971 Raised at Numbulwar Mission, Arnhem
Land, Northern Territory, Australia among the
Nunggubuyu tribe. Member of the Nunggarrgurlu
clan, Bulign moiety.
Was taught techniques.of traditional bark painting by Aboriginal Elder.

1972-1974 Lived at Angurugu Mission, Groote Eylandt, Northern Territory, Australia, among the Anandiliaguwa language group. First contact with Rock Paintings.

1975-1978 Lived in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
Continued contacts with various Aboriginal Communities.
Started field trips into the Escarpment country of the central north of the Northern Territory, to discover and record traditional Aboriginal Rock Painting

1979-1980 Lived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia while attending Art College and established contact with Dr Nick Zika of the Museum of Victoria
Continued field trips into the Escarpment country of the central north of the Northern Territory, concentrating especially on the Koolpin Gorge region. Continued to discover and record traditional Aboriginal Rock Painting

1981-1983 Lived in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.while completing Art College.

RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

1976 Commenced field trips into Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia, in the Deaf Adder Creek Gorge area. Produced thesis (1977) on the Aboriginal Rock Painting of this area. Liaison with George Chaloupka, Head of Aboriginal Art site recording, Northern Territory Museum and Art Gallery.

1977 Discovered first Aboriginal site, Koolpin Gorge Area, Northern Territory, (now part of Kakadu National Park).

1978 Awarded Swan Brewery Research Scholarship to continue research into Aboriginal Art. Produced preliminary report on Aboriginal Rock Painting sites in the Koolpin Gorge Area for Matriculation Art Thesis (Published 1978).

1979-1980 Attended Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, enrolled in Fine Arts (Painting).
Commissioned by the Dean, Faculty of Art to help establish student research trips into Arnhem Land to study the indigenous art and culture.
Worked with Dr. Nick Zika of the Museum of Victoria in lecturing in Aboriginal Art and Culture at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Began liaison with Bob Ellis, Director of Aboriginal Sacred Sites Authority. Worked together documenting and interpreting Aboriginal Rock Art Sites.

1981-1982 Attended Darwin Community College, Darwin, Northern Territory Australia. Enrolled in Fine Arts. Lectured in Aboriginal Art and Culture.

1981 Organized and led students from Darwin Community College on a field research trip into Arnhem Land and Kakadu National Park to study Aboriginal Art in particular Rock Paintings.
Produced detailed report on main sites at Koolpin Gorge as Graduating Thesis for History of Art.

1982-1983 Continued field trips into the Koolpin Gorge Area, discovered and recorded numerous Aboriginal Art Sites.

1983-1986 Lived in Queensland, Australia. Established strong contacts with local Aborigines. Visiting lecturer in Aborignal Art and Culture at the Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

1987 Recommenced field trips into Kakadu National Park.
Guest lecturer in Aborignal Art and Culture at the Darwin Institute of Technology, School of Art, Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
Detailed report on main sites at Koolpin Gorge (produced in 1981) was used as a reference in the Anthropological report produced on an area in stage 3 Kakadu National Park.

1992-1993 Visited USA and lectured in Aboriginal Art and Culture for Orleonok (Lennie) Pitkin at Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland, Oregon.

1997-2000 Academic Dean, International Bible College, Gold Coast Queensland, Australia

2002-PRESENT Visiting USA and Europe to lectured in Aboriginal Art and Culture for various Institutions and Associations. Conducting workshops in Tradition Aboriginal Bark Painting
